In a first, a play on the life of legendary Assamese saint and philosopher Srimanta Sankardev is going to be held at the festival of the prestigious National School of Drama in New Delhi. The play, which will be staged at the NSD’s Bharat Rang Mahotsav festival on February 22, would be performed by a team of artistes from Guwahati. Interestingly, the team consists of not just actor of Assamese community but also consists of actors from the Marwari community. These days, the team is busy rehearsing for their big performance in New Delhi
