Jolaibari Constituency & Candidates contesting the 2023 Assembly Elections

Jolaibari is an assembly constituency in Tripura. In 2018, CPIM candidate Jashabir Tripura won the seat by defeating BJP candidate Ankya Mog Choudhuri

Jolaibari is one of the 60 Legislative Assembly constituencies of Tripura which comes under South Tripura district and is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes. It is also part of Tripura East (Lok Sabha constituency). Jolaibari Village is in Bokafa Block, South Tripura district. The estimated population of Jolaibari in 2023 is 11,785 and total households residing are 2429.
Communist Party Of India (Marxist) candidate Jashabir Tripura has also won the seat for the party in 2013. But this time it is Debendra Tripura, 47, who is contesting instead of Jashabir.
This time instead BJP has left the seat to its ally IPFT to contest.
