Union Home Minister Amit Shah to hold two rallies, a roadshow in poll-bound Tripura today

First, the Union Minister will hold the rally in Chandipur in the Unakoti district and later in Bishramganj town in Sepahijala district
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold two rallies and a roadshow in Tripura today boosting BJP’s election campaign for the Assembly elections in the state scheduled to be held on February 16, 2023.
Union Minister Amit Shah will begin his day by visiting Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur town. After that, he will hold two rallies that are a part of the Vijay Sankalp Rally.
First, he will hold the rally in Chandipur in the Unakoti district at around 12 pm and later in Bishramganj town in Sepahijala district at around 2 pm.
The Union Home Minister will also hold a road show in the Pratapgarh Assembly constituency later on in the day. The rally will start from Jogendranagar Rail Station and conclude at City Centre.
The BJP has raised the temperature in poll-bound Tripura with its high-voltage, high-octane electioneering over the past few days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assam Chief Minister and NEDA convenor Himanta Biswa Sarma, BJP national president JP Nadda hold more than 30 rallies in the state over the past few days.
Earlier, yesterday (Saturday) Prime Minister Narendra Modi hold two mega rallies in Ambassa and Radhakishorepur boosting the party’s election campaign.
During the rallies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi teared into the CPI-M and Congress in the state claiming they have disregarded the interests of the poor.
The Prime Minister accused Congress and the CPI-M of tricking the people ahead of the elections.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the state again on Monday.
Tripura will go to the polls on February 16, 2023. The counting of votes will be held on March 2.
