Former BJP MDC Zik Zak Bhupendra B Hajong joined the TMC on Wednesday

Former BJP MDC Zik Zak Bhupendra B Hajong joined the TMC on Wednesday, along with all his supporters, in a joining event held in Salmanpara, South West Garo Hills.
Meghalaya TMC MLAs from Salmanpara, Winnerson D Sangma, and Mahendraganj, Dikkanchi D Shira welcomed the newcomers to the party.
Notably, Bhupendra B Hajong is a former MDC member from Zik Zak and a former BJP leader who ran for the Salmanpara constituency on a BJP ticket in the 2018 assembly elections.
During the joining ceremony, Bhupendra B. Hajong said that he was inspired by the dynamic leadership of TMC leader and former CM Mukul Sangma, which prompted him to join the TMC.
