It’s the day we have been waiting for! Bollywood’s favourite couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are tying the knot today, February 7. Their pre-wedding functions started from February 5 at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The guests have already arrived at the venue, and preparations for the grand nuptials are in full swing. Sid-Kiara’s grand sangeet took place last night, and we have got exclusive details what happened inside the fun event.

SID-KIARA’S FUN SANGEET NIGHT

The wedding festivities of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are going on in full swing at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace. The exotic wedding venue was seen lit up in pink colour last night as the sangeet night started.

Sidharth also joined Kiara Advani’s brother Mishaal on stage, who was singing a medley for her. Mishaal is a rapper, composer and music director by profession. Mishaal released his first track No My Name in November 2022.

Not only that, even Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor took to the stage and danced to Kaala Chasma. Kiara was seen blushing throughout, especially during songs from Shershaah.

Reportedly, Hari and Sukhmani bands were also called in for a musical night on Monday. The duo had earlier performed at Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding. Hari and Sukhmani sang a mix of English and Punjabi songs.

Kamna Arora, a wedding choreographer, also shared a picture last night. This could possibly be taken from her hotel room.

There was also a tight security in place around Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer as Sidharth and Kiara’s Sangeet night was being held.

ALL ABOUT SID-KIARA WEDDING

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani reached Jaisalmer on February 4 with their respective families. The couple had kick-started their pre-wedding festivities on February 5, with their mehendi ceremony first. The wedding was earlier expected to take place on February 6. However, later it was changed to February 7. The Haldi ceremony of the love birds took place on February 6 morning. Sidharth and Kiara have invited a few names from the tinsel town to their wedding. Kara Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Akash Ambani, Ashivni Yardi, and Aarti Shetty have landed in Jaisalmer for the wedding festivities.

According to reports, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding menu boasts of delicious local delicacies such as Dal Baati Churma and more. Among the food preparations being made are eight types of churma, five types of baati and more delicious local food. Apart from that, Awadhi specialties and Royal Rajputana food is also included in the menu. There will also be Rajasthani and Punjabi winter delicacies. Reports also suggest that there will be Italian, Chinese, Thai and Korean food counters. There will be over 20 varieties of desserts too! Kiara and Sidharth’s wedding is sort of a carnival for their guests. Several stalls have been put up including customised luc chudi stall, lehriya dupatta/saree stall, wooden handicrafts and more. There will also be folk dancers.

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have also announced a ‘no phone policy’ for the guests, and the hotel staff have been informed about the same. The guests of both bride and groom have been requested not to post any pictures of the wedding on social media, according to reports.
