Bill Gates is an American business magnate, author, investor, and philanthropist. He has built Microsoft, mastered many skills, owns many businesses and is even curious to explore things out in space. Even at the age of 67, he is not stopping learning. But even after achieving so much and becoming an inspiration to many, he is of no good in front of desi moms as he can’t cook round rotis.
Billionaire Bill Gates, who loves Indian food, recently brought his inner chef out to cook a north Indian staple– Roti. He recently appeared in a video with American celebrity chef Eitan Bernath and tried to make roti himself. Eitan posted the video on Twitter and wrote, “@BillGates and I had a blast making Indian Roti together. I just got back from Bihar, India where I met wheat farmers whose yields have increased thanks to new early sowing technologies and women from “Didi Ki Rasoi” canteens who shared their expertise in making Roti.”
Watch the video here:
In the video, the two chefs were seen making the rotis from scratch. While his roti cooked well and tasted good– or that’s what he admitted in the video. The billionaire literally failed in the assignment of making the roti. Why? Well, roti is not roti until it’s ‘Gol’ (round) according to all the Indian moms. Or this is what we hear every day.
Anyways, at least he entered the contest of making maps with roti and soon or later we believe he will learn to make a round shape too.
