Sikkim CM lays foundation of 2 health and education projects

The CM laid the foundation for an university and a cancer institute
Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang laid foundations for 2 major projects in the Health and Education sectors today at Jorethang.
He laid the foundation stone for the Capital University at Zoom, Soreng District. The University is set to be established in an area of 13 acres where interdisciplinary courses will be offered.
The CM also laid the foundation of Ekana Cancer Institute at Karfectar, South Sikkim.
Once ready, the project would go a long way in helping the increasing number of cancer patients in the state.
The institute is to be established with an investment of Rs 2000 crore in PPP (public-private-partnership) mode by G C Group of Companies.
