Police denies communal angel in Gomati violence

Tripura police have rejected the communal angle in the clash that took place outside the ancestral home of former Chief Minister Biplab Deb in Gomati district.
In a release issued the Gomati police said that while some reports have appeared in the media that the incident took place in the house of senior political functionaries and there is a communal angle to it, it is clarified that these reports are baseless. Meanwhile, reacting to the incident of violence in Gomati, CM Saha said that law will take its own course.
