Violence in Tripura, several vehicles vandalised, shops set ablaze

Several vehicles were vandalised and a few shops were set ablaze last evening in Tripura's Rajdhannagar after clashes erupted between two groups over putting political party flags by the roadside.
The incident took place where an annual ritual of former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb’s late father was supposed to take place. However, the police are yet to confirm the actual reason behind the incident.
