N C Debbarma, Cabinet Minister in BJP-IPFT government in Tripura under Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha had been admitted at the AGMC & GB hospital in Agartala after suffering a brain stroke this evening.

The 80 years old politician’s condition is said to be critical now. Doctors said they will soon perform a surgery on him.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha rushed to the hospital to inspect NC Debbarma’s condition. 

He spoke with the attending doctors and NC Debbarma’s family. CM Saha informed that although the surgery is risky, it is necessary for NC Debbarma to undergo surgery as part of his treatment.

His amily member has given consent for the procedure.

The Chief Minister also assured all help from his side and the administration.

Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik and other senior BJP leaders have also visited the hospital to inspect the health condition of octogenarian NC Debbarma.
