CM N Biren Singh condoles death, announces ex-gratia of 5 lakhs to kin

Tragedy has struck in Manipur's Noney district where at least 8 students have been killed following a road accident, while 26 are reported to be critically injured.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh visited the Raj Medicity Hospital in Imphal and met with the injured persons. The Chief Minister also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakhs for the kin of the victims. Meanwhile, CM N Biren said that school buses should not move around in the morning hours during winters as visibility gets affected due to fog.
