Former Tripura CM Manik Sarkar’s wife injured in an accident

Panchali Bhattacharjee suffered a serious head injury in the accident that took place in Agartala on Saturday

Panchali Bhattacharjee, wife of former Tripura Chief Minister and present Opposition Leader Manik Sarkar was seriously injured in an accident.

Panchali Bhattacharjee suffered a serious head injury in the accident that took place in Agartala late Saturday evening.

She was immediately rushed to the Agartala Government Medical College & Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital for treatment.

Her condition is said to be stable now, however, she is under observation at the hospital and she might get discharged soon.

State Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman paid her a visit at the hospital and enquired about her treatment. He wished her a speedy recovery.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha also wished her a fast recovery and assured all support.
