Over 2,500 ex-servicemen attended a mega rally held in Dibrugarh on Wednesday organised by the Da division of the Indian Army.
The Army resolved to stand with the entire ex-servicemen fraternity, especially with the Veer Naris and the widows of the ex-servicemen of Da Division.
The Veer Naris and the veterans of over the age of 80 were honoured at the rally.
The ex-servicemen fraternity and their families were thanked for their services and sacrifices made for the nation.
Da Division, in collaboration with various military establishments and civil administrations, established a number of grievance redressal stalls, facilities of which were overwhelmingly subscribed to by veterans and their families.
As part of the event, a spectacular display of the Army Military Band, Kalaripayattu Martial Art, and a cultural programme by NCC cadets were organized. The event was a tribute to honour the selfless services of our veterans and their families.
