Trophy tour of FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 reaches Imphal

The Trophy Tour of the 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup reached Imphal On Wednesday.

The Trophy Tour of the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 has been brought to Manipur’s capital city Imphal for public display as part of the trophy tour visiting 13 states and one union territory.

Manipur sports minister Govindas Konthoujam along with executives of Manipur Hockey brought the trophy to the Imphal International Airport on Wednesday. The trophy was welcomed by hockey players of district units and clubs.

The trophy is being displayed at the western gate of Kangla in Imphal. A main event for the trophy tour is being held today afternoon.

The trophy tour will reach Guwahati tomorrow.

The top 16 best teams in the globe will fight for the prized World Cup Trophy in Odisha from 13 to 29 January next year.
