The mobile phones of at least 20 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including the MLA, were stolen during a roadshow of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in north Delhi’s Malka Ganj area on Wednesday.

The incident happened when CM Kejriwal was campaigning for the MCD elections.

According to DCP North Sagar Kalsi, thieves looted mobile phones during the AAP rally in Malka Ganj area.

AAP MLA Akhilesh Tripathi, AAP leader Guddi Devi and MLA Somnath Bharti’s secretary have lodged a complaint based on which an FIR has been registered and an investigation has been initiated.

The 250-ward MCD goes to election on December 4 and the counting of votes will take place on December 7.
