The Meghalaya government is all set to lift the internet ban tomorrow. Six days after the Mukroh firing incident, the government of Meghalaya has now decided to lift the internet ban across the hill state. The ban was imposed as a precautionary measure to prevent spread of misinformation. Restrictions on the movement of Assam registered vehicles has also been lifted by authorities in Assam, and the Meghalaya police has increased its patrolling across Meghalaya, LR Bishnoi, DGP Meghalaya told Northeast Live.
