Mizoram: Cops Arrest Man behind the Massive Oil Tanker Fire that Claimed 12 Lives

Mizoram Police arrested a 28-year-old man, TBC Lallawmawma of Tuirial village, about 25 km east of the capital Aizawl city, the man behind the massive oil tanker fire of Ocotber 29 that killed at least 12 people.
People had earlier suspected Lallawmawma to be the person to have lit the spilled petrol from the oil tanker. The petrol spilled as the tanker had met with an at the Tuirial Airfield locality.

Lallawmawma confessed to the crime after his arrest on November 1 night, police officials told reporters on Wednesday, November 16.Two more deaths happened on November 15 and 16, taking the death toll to 12.
Officials said that Lallawmawma was identified with the help of the local leaders of the civil societies and taken into police custody, on the midnight of November 1.
