Speaking to Northeast Live, Manipur Transport minister Khashim Vashum appealed the AMTDGF to withdraw the proposed strike for the interests of the people of Manipur.
Minister Khashim Vashum cited such form of protest will impact the upcoming Sangai festival which he said is an international festival, which is not limited only to Manipur or the entire nation.
The Manipur transport minister informed the government’s doors are always for talks. Khashim Vashum in fact said that he spoke to a few leaders of the AMTDGF this morning but still hopes for a breakthrough in the situation.
