Crucial review meet presided by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma after violence during FKJGP rally. Tackling drugs also discussed, sources.
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma chaired a key meeting today and reviewed the law and order situation in the state particularly in the East Khasi Hills district.
The meeting assumes significance since it comes days after common people were attacked during a rally by the Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People or FKJGP.

Meghalaya Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui, DGP LR Bishnoi, Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills Isawanda Laloo besides other officials of the East Khasi Hills District administration were present in the meeting.
As per top sources, measures to tackle drugs menace also topped the agenda of the meeting.
