AL Hek condemns violence during FKJGP rally

The state government must initiate action against those involved in the incident, says AL Hek. Terms incident as shameful for Meghalaya.
Meghalaya BJP leader AL Hek today condemned the incidents of violence during the rally by the Federation of Khasi, Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) on Friday. Hek also demanded that the state government must initiate action against those involved in the incident.
The Meghalaya BJP leader also flayed the role of Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Home Minister over the incident. AL Hek termed the incident as shameful for the entire state of Meghalaya.
Hek further added it is time to raise the voice and ensure that peace prevails in the state and maintained that every people have the right to live in the state.
It may be mentioned, chaotic scenes were witnessed in Meghalaya capital Shillong on Friday during a rally of the Federation of Khasi, Jaintia and Garo People. Passersby were allegedly attacked by a few miscreants who were purportedly part of the rally.
