Assam Police deports 3 Swedish nationals

Marcus Bloom, Hannah Bloom and Susana Hakansson have left Dibrugarh in an Indigo flight at 3 PM today & will fly to Stockholm tomorrow.

Assam Police today deported 3 Swedish nationals who were detained on Wednesday for violation of VISA regulations. The three Swedish nationals who were detained from Naharkatia in Eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh district, have been accused of indulging in prosilitizing activities.

Allegations are that they were trying to induce some people in the area to embrace Christianity.

Top Assam Police sources told Northeast Live, that the 3 Swedish nationals were fined 500 dollars each andthe money has been realised already.

The 3 Swedish nationals have been identified as Marcus Bloom, Hannah Bloom and Susana Elisabeth have left Dibrugarh in an Indigo flight at 3 PM today and after an overnight stay at the Indira Gandhi Airport in New Delhi, they will be taking a Qatar Airways flight to Stockholm tomorrow morning.

The programme where the Swedish nationals addressed people was organized by the United Churches Fellowship and Blessed Assam Mission Network, officials said.

The 3-day event was named Peace and Healing Prayer Festival which ended today.
