Arvind Kejriwal referred to Indonesia to make his appeal stronger and said if Indonesia could do it, “so can we."

In a first of it’s kind, AAP national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has triggered a storm. Kejriwal, briefing the media this morning appealed the Centre to put photos of Hindu deiteis Lakshmi and Ganesh on currency notes.

Kejriwal believes that the photos of the deiteis if published with the already enshrined picture of Mahatma Gandhi, will bring “prosperity” to the nation.

Arvind Kejriwal referred to Indonesia to make his appeal stronger and said if Indonesia could do it, “so can we.”

Reacting to Kejriwal’s statements, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged the man who declined to “ever go to Ram Temple” in Ayodhya and called the “exodus of Kashmiri Pandits a lie” in Assembly is taking a U-turn.

Meanwhile, the Congress lambasted Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal over his demand , calling it “vote politics. It is his vote politics. If he goes to Pakistan, he can also say that I am Pakistani, so vote for me,” Sandeep Dikshit said. The Congress leader also alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is the B-team of the BJP.
