Tripura is all set to experience the benefits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development push. Prime Minister Modi will launch the mass home entry program of beneficiaries under PMAY.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Tripura by the end of this month. Chief Minister Manik Saha informed this.

However, the exact date of Prime Minister’s visit will be either on October 27 or 28. The final confirmation is still awaited. Tripura Chief Minister Saha informed that Prime Minister Modi will be in the state to inaugurate the mass home entry program of beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will also lay foundation and launch a number of development projects. The Tripura Chief Minister further informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be visiting Arunachal Pradesh.

Earlier, in January this year, Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated the New Integrated Terminal Building of Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport costing ₹450 crore with spreading over 30,000 square metres. The Prime Minister has also launched the Mukhyamantri Tripura Gram Samriddhi Yojana and Project Mission 100 of Vidyajyoti Schools.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the state can be seen as a shot in arm for the BJP ahead of the assembly elections slated for 2023.
