HM Amit Shah in Sikkim: Highlights Centre’s development push

Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled a statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the premises of Raj Bhawan in Gangtok.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Dairy Cooperative Conclave 2022 of the eastern and northeastern zones at Manan Kendra in Gangtok. The conclave was jointly organised by the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India or the NCDFI and Sikkim Milk Union.

In the function, the Himalayan state was awarded for being the highest suplier of milks to the Indian army among the Northeastern states. Amit Shah gave away the award as the Union Cooperative Minister.

Addressing the gathering at the Manan Kendra in Gangtok, the Union Home Minister said that Sikkim is a highly regarded state among the people of Gujarat. Heaping praise on Prime Minister Modi, Shah maintained that real development came in the Northeast only after Modi took oevr as the Prime Minister.

Besides, Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled a statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the premises of Raj Bhawan in Gangtok. Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang, Governor Ganga Prasad and other top officlas were present during the unveiling.

The Union Home Minister also launched a Documentary titled ‘Life of Ganga Prasad’ and a Coffee Table Book titled ‘ Pragati Pathi’ on the occasion.
