In a sensational incident, a youth from Assam was killed following a brawl in the southern state of Kerela.

The deceased, who has been identified as Dulu Rajbongshi, was a migrant worker.

He reportedly had an altercation with two other youths from Assam, following which the duo allegedly strangulated Dulu with a belt and drowned him in the sea.

As per reports, the incident happened around 12:30 last night at the Koyi-landi Mayam Beach in Kozikode district of Kerela.

The accused duo have been identified as Manoranjan and Lakshmi.

Both are currently in police custody.
