Cricket fever has taken hold in Guwahati with less than a day until the highly anticipated T20 match between India and South Africa.

The two teams will also be holding their second practice session today at the Barsapara cricket stadium, with the Proteas slated to hold their practice session at 1 PM in the afternoon, while the Men in Blue will take to the field later in the evening.

Earlier on September 29, both teams arrived on separate flights at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Borjhar and stayed at Hotel Radisson Blu.

Notably, the Indian cricket team and the South African team held their respective practice sessions at the Barsapara stadium yesterday ahead of their highly anticipated T20 clash tomorrow.

Both India’s Rohit Sharma and his South African counterpart, Temba Bavuma, will address the media today. Rohit Sharma is expected to hold a press briefing at 4:30 PM.
