In a first of its kind initiative, the Assam government is all set to hold a brainstorming session between ministers and bureaucrats in Kaziranga from today.

The brainstorming session, titled “Chintan Shivir,” will be held from today till September 26. The Chintan Shibir, a brainchild of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, is being organised by the General Administration Department, or the GAD and Tourism Department, on behalf of the State Government.

Besides the Chief Minister, all ministers and senior-most secretaries of various departments will attend the three-day Chintan Shivir during which they will discuss the ongoing activities of the departments and the plans for the next five years. A roadmap of the departments for the next five years is likely to be prepared during the session.

Notably, spiritual leaders Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of the Art of Living and Sadhguru have been invited to take part in the Chintan Shivir, as well as Chief Secretaries of different states.
