Hamro Sikkim Party Chief Bhaichung Bhutia has once again demanded an Inner Line Permit for Sikkim. Bhutia today said that the ILP is necessary for Sikkim and would go a long way in solving many issues in the state.
Bhutia also raised the issue of bad road infrastructure in Sikkim. The Hamro Sikkim Party chief said that National Highway 10, which is extremely important for communication in the state, is in a deplorable condition. Bhutia also said that several state highways are in bad condition and the party would approach the Union Road Ministry to improve the situation.

Meanwhile, Bhutia also targeted the current Sikkim government led by SKM on various issues.
It is to be mentioned that the National Conference of Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) has unanimously elected Bhaichung Bhutia as its new party president.
Bhutia was elected as the new HSP President via unanimous decision, the party informed in a press statement.
While accepting the post of President of HSP, Bhaichung Bhutia outlined his vision for the party going forward and said that the HSP will continue to strive to serve the people of Sikkim and represent their hopes and aspirations.
