External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who is on a four-day visit to China announced that China has confirmed that it will resume sharing of hydrological data of the Brahmaputra and the Sutlej rivers.

The External Affairs Minister further added that the two countries had agreed to work together on issues like terrorism, climate change, sustainable development and global healthcare.

Meanwhile, Sushma Swaraj and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also discussed a host of bilateral issues and ways to step up the pace of high-level interactions to improve the relationship between the two countries.

Sushma Swaraj is on a four-day visit to China in order to take part in the foreign ministers’ meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
