There seems to be no end to political violence in the election-bound Tripura with supporters of the BJP and CPI-M clashing in the Bishalgarh area today.
In fact, the national highway next to the Bishalghar hospital turned into a virtual battlefield as supporters of the ruling BJP and opposition CPIM clashed in the area.
The incident took place when CPM supporters were returning after submitting a memorandum to the sub-divisional magistrate on various issues including price hikes of essential commodities, deteriorating law and order, and unemployment among others.
