Marak was apprehended when he was traveling in a hired vehicle. He had been absconding since last Friday after a raid at his 30-room farmhouse on the outskirts of Tura.
5 minors were rescued from the place by the police while around 70 others including 23 women were arrested.
Meanwhile, a magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the farmhouse raid case to ascertain whether Bernard Marak is the legal owner of the property where the raid took place.
It will also be ascertained whether proper permission was taken from the competent authority for running the establishment.
