Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today. During the deliberations the Assam Chief Minister briefed the top leaders about the situation aftermath the devastating floods, developments pertaining to the border talks with Arunachal Pradesh besides other issues. Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that unnecessary controversy has been created as far as the government’s handling of the flood situation is situation is concerned. Chief Minister Sarma said that his government has left no stone unturned to deal with the crisis.
