Arunachal: 19 workers from Assam feared drowned in Kumi River

As per inputs, the workers were engaged in construction work along the Indo-China border in Kurung Kumey.
At least 19 workers from Assam are feared dead in Arunachal Pradesh after drowning in the Kumi river.
As per inputs, the workers were engaged in construction work along the Indo-China border in Kurung Kumey. Suspicion grew after the body of one of the workers was recovered from the Kumi river.
Notably, all the workers have been missing since July 5. The missing workers hail from Assam’s Barpeta, Baksa, and Bongaigaon districts.
Meanwhile, Northeast Live has accessed the details of the missing workers. They have been identified as Khairul Islam, Moijul Haq of Barpeta, Sonar Uddin of Kamrup, Jaynal Ali Rustam Ali and Hikmati Ali of Baksa.
Others have been identified as Swahidul Islam, Amidul Haq, Ibrahim Ali, Abdul Amin, and Nurul Islam.
