A poacher has been gunned down by Assam police personnel at the Burapahar Range of the Kaziranga National Park near National Highway-37 in Assam.
Jakhalabandha Police carried out a late night operation and gunned down the poacher. One AK-56 rifle and a few rounds of ammunition was recovered from the spot.
Meanwhile, the killed poacher is yet to be identified.
