After Naga People’s Front and the JD-U, the Kuki People’s Alliance has now extended unconditional support to the BJP for the formation of new government.
KPA President Tongmang Haokip along with two newly elected MLAs – Kimneo Haokip Hangshing and Chinlunthang submitted their letter of support to Governor La. Ganesan at Raj Bhavan In Imphal on March 18.
The KPA had won from the Saikul and Singhat Assembly seats.Earlier, Janata Dal (United) with 6 MLAs and NPF with 5 legislators had extended support to the BJP.
Besides, Independent MLA Sapam Nishikanta Singh has also extended support to the BJP.
