BJP to send Rijiju & Sitharaman as suspense over next Manipur CM continues

As suspense continues over who will be the next Chief Minister of Manipur, the BJP is all set to send central observers and co-observers to the state for the election

As suspense continues over who will be the next Chief Minister of Manipur, the BJP is all set to send central observers and co-observers to the state for the election of the leader of the legislative party.

For Manipur Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be the observer while Kiren Rijiju will be the co-observer.

Sitaharaman and Rijiju are expected to arrive in Manipur in a day or two for the election of the legislative party leader.

Earlier in the day, after the oath-taking ceremony of newly-elected MLAs, CM N Biren Singh reiterated that all decisions related to government formation will be taken by the central observers of the BJP.

As per sources, Minister Thongam Biswajit is also in the race.
