He was accompanied by his daughter Shweta as they both admired the flora & fauna of Kaziranga.
According to a state government official, President Kovind took the ride from Mihimukh point in the Kohora range of the national park, accompanied by several ministers.

Meanwhile, Kovind’s wife Savita Kovind and their daughter had gone on a jeep safari inside the national park yesterday.
The President inaugurated an exhibition on Kaziranga National Park and briefed about wildlife-friendly initiatives.
He exhorted the Government and people of Assam to take forward their conservation efforts.
President Kovind, accompanied by his wife and daughter arrived in Assam on February 25 and took part in the 400th birth anniversary celebrations of legendary Ahom general Bir Lachit Borphukan in Guwahati.
He had spent the night in Guwahati before attending Tezpur University’s convocation on February 26 and flying to Kaziranga later that day.
He stayed the night at the Assam Police Guest House at Kaziranga.
The president is scheduled to fly back to New Delhi later today.
