Manipur Pre-Poll violence: Miscreants attack car, assaults driver in Hmuia locality

Manipur reported yet another instance of pre-poll violence last night. As per sources, the incident happened at the Hmuia locality along the Tedim Road when miscreants attacked a Suzuki Ignis

Manipur reported yet another instance of pre-poll violence last night. As per sources, the incident happened at the Hmuia locality along the Tedim Road when miscreants attacked a Suzuki Ignis vehicle and physically assaulted its driver who has been identified as Kham Guite.

The driver was later admitted to the district hospital. Further, it has been reported that the car belongs to Thanglalmuan, president of Siamsinpawlpi, a students’ union.

Furthermore, sources claim that both the owner of the vehicle and the injured person work for BJP candidate V. Hangkhanlian from Churchandpur.
