The SSA teachers of Meghalaya have set an ultimatum to the State Government for releasing their pending salaries by the end of February.

The Meghalaya SSA Teachers’ Association called an emergency meeting today which discussed calling off their non-cooperation movement against the Meghalaya Government.

It may be mentioned here that the Meghalaya SSA Teachers’ Association have demanded the immediate release of Rupees 104 crore from the Government.

Through a video message shared with the media, the President of Meghalaya SSA Teachers’ Association Aristotle Rymbai said that the association will organise a mass march to the State Secretariat on 2nd March if their pending salaries are not released by 28th February.
