Raising the issue of the murder of a CPI (M) supporter, Benu Biswas, allegedly by BJP supporters, the CPI (M) state secretary claimed that at least 23 CPI (M) leaders and supporters were murdered for political reasons in the past 47 months under the BJP-IPFT regime in Tripura.
He further alleged that the Tripura police have been protecting the culprits instead of probing the incident and taking stringent action against perpetrators involved in such a heinous crime.
