Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the star campaigner for the BJP in the Manipur Assembly Elections apart from BJP national president JP Nadda and other top leaders.
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh today informed that the party will release its manifesto soon after the visit of BJP national president JP Nadda.
Congress and the National People’s Party have both released their manifestoes in regards to the Manipur Assembly elections. Whereas Congress has made poll promises like the generation of jobs, solving of interstate border issues the NPP has focused on looking into AFSPA.
It is to be mentioned that polling dates for the assembly elections have been shifted. Now polls will be held on February 28 instead of February 27 and March 5 instead of March 3rd earlier announced.
