Manipur Poll 2022: Congress releases 2ND list of candidates

The Congress has released its second list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections. The list includes the names of 10 candidates. Among the candidates are ex-BJP MLAs P Sharatchandra

The Congress has released its second list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections. The list includes the names of 10 candidates.

Among the candidates are ex-BJP MLAs P Sharatchandra Singh from Moirang and 3 times ex-BJP MLA Ningthoujam Biren Singh from Sekmai Assembly Constituency.

The two former BJP leaders had just resigned from the party and jumped ship to the Congress following the non-issuance of BJP tickets.

The list also includes N Helendro Singh from Yaiskul, N Joykumar Singh from Bishnupur, and N Kipgen from Kangpokpi.
