In what can be termed as a major security breach, Karnataka Lokayukta, Justice P Vishwanath was stabbed multiple times by a man inside the Lokayukta Office in Bengaluru.
Justice Shetty was soon after admitted at the Mallya Hospital, where he is being treated in its ICU. Speaking to the media, State Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said that the Lokayukta is now “out of danger”.
Vishwanath Shetty, a former High Court Justice was appointed as Lokayukta of Karnataka in the year 2017.
