In yet another instance of ceasefire violation by Pakistan, the Indian Army strongly retaliated to the ceasefire violation by the neighbouring country along the Line of Control (LOC) in Uri sector of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to BSF authorities, the retaliation led two casualties on the Pakistan side.

It may be mentioned that Pakistan had violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LOC) in Rustum area of Uri sector earlier in the day. India gave a befitting reply to the heavy mortar shelling and firing by Pakistani forces.

Earlier on Wednesday, a Pakistani soldier was killed as India replied to the unprovoked firing along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Tangdhar sector.
