Youtuber Paras Singh who was in judicial custody in Arunachal Pradesh for hurling racial abuse at MLA Ninong Ering has been finally granted bail by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Yupia on Friday.

Paras has been granted bail on a personal bond and has been asked not to leave the country without informing the court. He will also be required to attend hearing in the frontier state as and when required.

Paras Singh, who was brought to Itanagar from Ludhiana last month was in custody for 16 days. The Youtuber had hurled racial abuse on Pasighat MLA Ninong Ering and the people of Arunachal in a widely circulated YouTube video.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive telephonic conversation with Northeast Live’s Ripunjoy Das, Paras sung praises of Arunachal Pradesh and pledged to return as a tourist to explore the beautiful state.

Paras also revealed that he was treated very well by the state police who also taught him many things. He also stated that the latter had an interaction with him via video conference wherein he spoke to him like a father and even promised to request the authorities to forgive him.

The 22-year-old Ludhiana-based youth also resolved to promote Northeast through his YouTube channel.
