In view of the current COVID-19 situation in Assam, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) postponed higher secondary final examinations, scheduled to be held from May 11.
Meanwhile, the Matric and High madrassa examinations has also been postponed indefinitely.
Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has postponed the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations 2021, said SEBA chairman Ramesh Chandra Jain.
The exams were scheduled to commence from May 11.
The new dates will be announced after the consultation with the health department over the Covid scenario in the state.
