United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL), an ally of the BJP in Assam on Tuesday released a list of 8 candidates for the third phase of Assembly polls. The newly formed
United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL), an ally of the BJP in Assam on Tuesday released a list of 8 candidates for the third phase of Assembly polls.
The newly formed regional party has fielded former president Urkhao Gwra Brahma for the Chapaguri (ST) seat.
The other candidates who will be contesting the polls include – Somnath Narzary from Gossaigaon, Manaranjan Brahma from Kokrajhar West (ST), Lawrence Islary from Kokrajhar East (ST), Jayanta Basumatary from Sidli (ST), Phanin Boroin Bijni, Leho Ram Boro from Tamlupur and Bhupen Baro from Barama (ST) seat.
