Tripura: BSF IG visits Indo-Bangladesh border, greets jawans on Diwali

Newly-appointed Inspector General of the BSF’s Tripura frontier Sushanta Nath on Saturday paid a visit to Akhura check post along the Indo-Bangladesh border on the occasion of Diwali.

The Inspector-General greeted the BSF jawans who are on duty at the Akhura check post and also distributed sweets among them on the festive occasion.

From there IG Sushanta Nath proceeded towards Ziro Point where he also greeted troopers of Bangladesh’s BGB or Border Guard Bangladesh and offered them sweets on the occasion of Diwali.
