Assam Health and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday took to his Twitter handle to share the 3D view of the proposed four-Lane Maligaon Fly-Over.
The approximate length of the proposed fly-over is 2.9 Km. The construction of the fly-over is likely to begin in October 2020.
“3D view of the Proposed 4 Lane Maligaon Fly-Over ( Length 2.9 km). Construction will start within October 2020,” Sarma tweeted.
With an overall cost of over Rs. 300 crores, the fly-over will be connecting the new road that is currently under construction at the Nilachal hill to the main road of Guwahati.
The fly-over is expected to facilitate easy transport of commuters from Guwahati Airport to the Kamakhya Temple.
