BSF Guwahati Frontier apprehends two smugglers

Troops of Border Security Force (BSF) under Guwahati Frontier apprehended two smugglers along with 41 kg ganja and 353 bottles of Phensedyl in the bordering areas of Konamukta village, under Dinhata Police Station in Cooch Behar district of West Bengal.

These contraband items were being smuggled from India to Bangladesh on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, troops of BSF of BOP Narayanganj of 38 Bn BSF under Guwahati Frontier carried out a special operation and apprehended the smugglers.

The two smugglers have been identified as Rahul Alam, (28 years), Azimul Hoque, (29 years).

They have been handed over to Dinhata Police Station for further legal action.
